Born in Ireland in 1898 and eventually finding his way into the lecture halls of Oxford and Cambridge in England, the prolific C.S. Lewis certainly ranks among the most quotable and notable figures of the 20th century and beyond. He wrote more than thirty books, including such distinguished and popular titles as Mere Christianity, Out of the Silent Planet, The Great Divorce, The Screwtape Letters, and the universally acknowledged classic, The Chronicles of Narnia series.

Lewis is so well-known for his writings and lectures in defense of the Christian faith, it seems unlikely that there would be an occasion in which Lewis would NOT recommend Christianity to someone. Nevertheless, in this episode of That's Worth Repeating, Richard and Brian discuss a quote by Lewis in which he does just that!
