Upon returning home the party found themselves beset by holy knights. They defeated them before their reinforcements could arrive. A woman calling herself Colette arrived giving everyone a blessed amulet and sending out a ruse to throw off the church's templars.

The next day Barphine found a book she had never noticed before in the library. On the seventh bookcase, seventh shelf, and the seventh spot was a chest in the shape of a book that proffered to give her what she needed. She received instructions to a ritual to remove demonic taint.
