In episode three, high school language learner, Gya Rodriguez discusses her journey learning four languages and the beauty of connecting with their encompassing cultures. Gya was born in Puerto Rico and moved to California at the age of 3-years-old. For this reason, she is a native Spanish and English speaker, and is also self-studying Portugués and French due to her fascination with the arts and culture. In this episode, we discuss the challenges Gya faces as a native speaker of both Spanish and English, her passion for communicating and connecting with various cultures and people, the cruciality of the positive motivations and mindsets of polyglots, and the significance of learning languages as a teenager. This episode highlights Gya's story through her perspective, the polyglot perspective.
