Jana and Joe are two individuals who made a big move to Florida from New York for different reasons. First up is Jana Levy, who moved to Florida in 1999 from Long Island, New York. After attending Lynn University, Jana became a licensed real estate agent and worked in the field for eight years.
My second guest is Joe Greco, a former New York City detective in the narcotics division who was injured on 9/11 and developed lung disease from working at the site. Constantly in and out of the hospital in New York due to the cold weather exacerbating his condition, Joe made the move to Florida where he feels 100 times better. It's an incredible story of resilience and finding a new home in a new place. Joe is currently the head of the Homeowners Association at Lexington Estates, a Gated Community in Boca Raton. We chatted about guns, schooling andd safety.
