As a proven sought after 'player-for-hire', Joshua has had the pleasure to perform in as many musical situations as Rock bands, large and small Jazz ensembles, Blues/Folk/Bluegrass and Country outfits, Rnb/Motown/Soul and Funk projects, Heavy & Progressive Metal Line-ups, theatre shows, corporate events, Classical brass ensembles, Filmclips and anything else you might think of! Whether it has been on the road touring or performing at events and festivals around Australia and globally to the USA and Europe, or in the recording studios, performing music has provided Joshua the opportunities to work with and amongst some of the best recording artists and musicians in their genres! A regular performer on the Electric Bass, Double Bass, Vocals and Acoustic Guitar, Joshua has gained his formal training and mentoring from teachers such as Craig Newman, Peter Dowdall, Bob Johnson and esteemed Australian drummer David Jones. This includes tertiary music studies from the Melbourne University's (VCA) Victoria College Of Arts and the Adelaide University's Elder School Of Music.
