Kayla Franchesca is a National Ice Hockey Player for the Philippine Women's Ice Hockey Team and is currently playing for the Sydney Bears Women's Team and New South Wales Bombers state team in Australia.

She along with her Philippine team previously won gold in the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) WCCOA 2019 Championships held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, making history as the first  women's team in Philippine hockey to win in an international level. She also received a game MVP and the finals Best Player Award.

Kayla is also an advocate for equality in sport and helping develop a better future for the next generation by working alongside Charity Bounce and Voice in Sport.
