For years, I convinced myself I wasn’t really an alcoholic. I had a thriving business, I traveled, I never got in trouble with the law—I thought that meant I had it under control. But behind the scenes, my life was completely unmanageable. I was trapped in a cycle of weekend binge drinking, self-sabotage, and chasing validation in all the wrong places.
