In episode 3 of The Teen Summit Podcast, Ms. Rae leaned a little into her sociology background and talked with teens about the intersections between the “isms.” Particularly how ageism might be seen in different aspects of our society. We brought this concept to life by discussing the December 26th attack against 14-year old Kenyon Harold Jr, over an allegedly stolen phone. Was it ageism, racism?
