Episode 3 of "Are You Afraid of the Podcast" looks at The Tale of the Lonely Ghost. While that title may sound terrifying, the execution of this episode leaves quite a bit to be desired. Amanda is forced to spend a Summer with her aunt Dottie and cousin Beth. While Beth is needlessly rude to Amanda, she just wants to fit in. So to prove she's worthy of hanging with her crew, she agrees to spend a night alone in the supposedly haunted house next door. But when the ghost who inhabits the house makes their presence known, it's up to Amanda to figure out what it wants before it's too late. This episode has one of the truly worst characters in TV history, a way too excited aunt and a lame story-teller. Still, we have some fun with why abandoned houses are always scary.
