Dylan “Dyslexia” Smith was adopted by a Russian family. He was misdiagnosed with ADHD up until 16 years old when he was diagnosed with Dyslexia instead. Most kids get diagnosed at the beginning of elementary school. This set him back already as he didn’t even know his ABCs in High school and was failing every test. As soon as he was diagnosed, he decided he was going to beat all odds and he did. He quickly learned his ABCs, worked hard all through high school and finally graduated. He realized there were so many others that were diagnosed dyslexic and allowed that to stop them from pursuing their destiny like he did. He has now become a motivational speaker and speaks to a lot of kids going through what he went through. His story is the perfect example of no excuses and becoming successful no matter what. He made sure his story became motivational and inspirational.
