Our goal is elevate, educate, and empower those of us in the Black Queer community, and also to help our supporters and allies to become more knowledgeable about what we need as far as support!

Xay Dé Interviews her mother for the Hallmark holiday - Mother's Day! Mrs. Shirley, or Sista Shirley to the saints down at the church, provides dynamic insight on what it means to be a Black mother to TWO queer children! She talks about how her faith is intertwined with her being and is connected to all that she does - including Motherhood. Further down, she speaks about the division of the LGBTQIA+ community and the energy that is religion. With all these things combined we get a small glimpse of what it takes to raise black, queer children as a faith-driven Christian.
