Have you ever known something wasn’t real, but wish it existed anyways?

When we were young, we read about dragons and unicorns, magic and mysticism. We watched films and consumed stories about the triumph of good over evil, bravery over cowardice, idealism over pessimism, love over hatred. But somewhere along the transition into adulthood, we’ve all been let down by the disappointing knowledge (some might say *cough cough* propaganda) that none of these things really exist or ring true. That our ideals and imaginations are just that and nothing more.

In today’s episode of 24 Days of Reflection, we give ourselves a brief reprieve from the cynicism around us with the question: what do you know isn’t real, but really wish it existed?
