In this episode, Tommy and Tyler sit down with Tommy’s cousin, Jonathan Ryder. After just one year as an engineer, Jonathan realized the office life wasn’t for him and shifted gears into contracting, earning $20 an hour working for a house flipper. He quickly gained valuable experience, eventually starting his own contracting business. Along the way, he fully remodeled his home—at one point showering in the river—and even ran it as an Airbnb for a year. Now, Jonathan has his sights set on flipping houses and expanding his real estate portfolio.
