"Ugh it's the 50's"
You'll be hearing us say that a lot in this episode as we get increasingly more frustrated with the way this case was conducted. This week we are talking about the case of Steven Truscott & Lynne Harper. In 1959, 14-year-old Steven Truscott was charged with the sexual assault and murder of 12-year-old Lynne Harper in Ontario, Canada. This case continues on until new evidence is brought to light in 2007, which is where Nicole comes in and educates us on the science of Forensic Entomology. If you're not one for bugs, this episode might get a little yucky, but it is interesting to learn what those creepy crawlers can tell us about the death of an individual. This episode is one you are not going to want to miss!
Listener's discretion advised as there are discussions of child death and sexual assault.
