With a birth dearth afflicting the developed world, a moribund dating culture making young adults miserable, and a growing marital malaise killing the bedroom, Auguste welcomes writer Georgi Boorman to give her take on the challenges facing couples today. The two go back and forth and end up producing a crunchy alternative (“touch some grass!”) to today’s desolate romantic landscape. While Georgi recommends that women eat right and get to work on finding their soulmate earlier, Auguste urges both young men and women dispense with “situationships” and “friend zones" and simply make their intentions clear. The two then discuss the problem of “dead bedrooms” and married couples losing their mojo. Georgi breaks down her own recent essay on this topic while Auguste chimes in with the male perspective. Despite discussing the various dimensions of sexual relationships, the conversation never becomes graphic or inappropriate. Georgi and Auguste show that its possible for conservative Christians to safely have this discussion and actually get somewhere with it.
