A writer, educator, and Certified Volunteer Naturalist from Northeast Ohio, Amy cofounded Project Zoobook, a collaboration of Bigfoot investigators working alongside primate zookeepers, primatologists, wildlife biologists, anthropologists, and other scientists. Her work with this group earned her the Dedicated Researcher Award at the 2018 International Bigfoot Conference in Kennewick, Washington and the 2020 Bigfoot Community Choice Female Researcher of the Year Award.

Her main research is conducted in Forest County, Pennsylvania and Columbiana County, Ohio, but she travels throughout North America speaking and looking for evidence of Sasquatch.
