Molly Movie Club

Ep. 33 Home Alone

Listen Later

Today’s episode is Home Alone directed by Chris Columbus.

Casey always uses Home Alone as his example when talking about how even mediocre movies in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s often had a pretty solid script. John Hughes’ script for Home Alone is surprisingly good. That’s not to say we think Home Alone is a great film, but there’s so much creativity in the movie that it’s no surprise it’s remained a holiday staple since its release.

Next Friday at 7pm PST we will be hosting our second watch party on Twitch! If you have any suggestions for a movie to watch, please comment below and let us know! The only requirement is that it has to be available to stream for free on Amazon Prime.

Until then, we’d love to hear your thoughts on Home Alone.

And to all those who celebrate, Merry Christmas!
