Ep. 33 " Learning Through Experience" - Ross McCampbell
Ross McCampbell is the Executive Director at WBCL Radio in Fort Wayne, IN. Early on in life, Ross knew he wanted to do something in television or radio. After earning a communications degree from Ohio State
University, he felt the pull to radio. After a few entry level positions, Ross interviewed at WBCL in 1989 and has been there ever since. In 2011, Ross became the Executive Director, which is the position he still holds.
Ross shares about his time at WBCL and how in today's
culture, people usually bounce around jobs and look for that "next best thing". He talks about God's faithfulness during his time at WBCL.
We spend time in this episode looking at Paul's letter to
the church in Philippi, where we specifically look at Philippians 4:12. Learning about what God's word says about money, wealth, and possessions takes
time and is a process. The more we dwell and dedicate ourselves to learning, the more experiences we have that make us understand things better. We also discuss how Jesus valued balance during his time on earth which often led him going off by himself to dwell and pray.
Finally, listen as Ross shares stories from his earlier life
on how God's provision came through time and time again. How lessons learned during those times have made him into the person and leader he is today.
