Mark and Kirsten Krikke have found success in mid term rentals.  Mark started his real estate journey with house hacking, then tried AirBnb, and then found his sweet spot with mid-term rentals during Covid and hasn't looked back.  Mark and Kirsten now manage their own properties as well as properties for other investors.
