“Will they, won’t they’s” in movies and TV are as old as storytelling itself. It being the week after Valentine’s Day, The Stoop Kids wanted to have a little fun with the old school trope. Rather than just match up characters within their own stories, Ralfy, Kai, and G decided to play matchmaker across multiple universes, TV shows, and movies. Some couples work, some don’t, and others are just for jokes. But before they get into that there was quite a lot of news to get through. First, it’s congratulations to all the 2020 Oscars winners. The internet went into a frenzy with our first look at Robert Pattinson’s Batman screen test. In other DC news, Birds of Prey underperforms, which leads to a discussion of the future of female-driven action films. Finally, No Time to Die has its theme song and The Stoop Kids give their thoughts.
Word on the street (12:10)
Main topic – Movie and TV character matchups (47:52)
Put Us On (1:41:24)
Outro Music: "Happy Valentine's Day" - OutKast
