Dylan Byrne is without doubt one of the major characters making Shanghai a hotbed of culture.

He cofounded and owns Shanghai Tattoo, the parlor at the forefront of China’s newfound craze to get inked. And he recently opened Doc Guthrie’s, an old-school barber shop which serves straight razor shaves with straight whiskey.

Dylan gave us his journey from Dublin through Harbin to Shanghai, and some of the crazy stories that come with the territory opening businesses in China.
