The Mothballs want to form a coven and Mandy, this week's interviewee, will be the Supreme. This lady's got the market on maximalism cornered. Her house is to die for, and we mean that in the most diabolical way possible. She's achieved the level of kitsch only seen on the covers of dirty pulp fiction. Come closer and we can all roll around in her bedazzled, tasseled, crushed velvet madhouse and never wake up from the fever dream. She truly is a woman meant to be part of the Mothball family. The theme of this week's episode, or perhaps the after-school special warning, is when collectors get together to talk collecting, they will get new ideas. New ideas mean you're going to need more space for all the new collections you're about to collect. Because when you hear about a cool collectible that you don't already collect, you must start collecting it. Right? Basically: we're all borderline hoarders who are only kept in check for the sake of aesthetics. All the mid-century madness falling out of this lady is either a miracle or straight-up witchcraft. Probably witchcraft. Thanks to a particularly aggressive estate sale walkthrough, you're going to want to binge some Bewitched. And maybe put up a Ben Cooper mask gallery wall...
