Episode 34 continues our discussions with Florida's Constitutional Officers. We have the privilege of sitting down with Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw. The Sheriff is a career law enforcement professional responsible for leading the largest law enforcement agency in Palm Beach County. Bradshaw rose through the ranks of the West Palm Beach Police Department and in 996 was appointed Chief of Police. In 2005, he was sworn in as the 16th sheriff to serve as the county's chief law enforcement officer. The Sheriff's office is composed of over 4,300 employees and approximately 5,000 volunteers. Safety is the number one factor people will focus on when selecting a place to live, work, learn and play. The Sheriff prides himself on his close working relationship with the Board of County Commissioners and the 39 municipalities in Palm Beach County.
