Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, Barbara McQuade was appointed by President Obama in 2010 and was the first woman to hold the position. She is currently a legal commentator on MSNBC and professor at the University of Michigan Law School. On this episode, she and Daniel talk about her love for teaching, privacy and civil liberties versus government's duty to keep us safe, and the fragile relationship the Department of Justice has with the Executive Branch in our government.
