Founded in February 2020, CBD Pillow is a family-owned business based in California, US. As the name suggests, the company has designed a pillow case and pillow that is infused with cannabidiol (CBD) to help users get a better night’s sleep. Using microencapsulation technology, the company’s patented process injects millions of microcapsules of CBD into the pillow, which are ‘activated’ through friction when the person moves around.

In this podcast, Howe explains the process in much more detail and also talks about CBD and where it comes from. He talks about the benefits of using CBD – such as for relaxation, pain relief and sleep – and how this ingredient is being used more and more and is here to stay. Elsewhere, Howe discusses the demand for the pillow, the health & wellness movement, and the company’s plans to expand the range in 2021.
