I decided to share Lorraine's story across two episodes. What brought her into motherhood is an incredible journey and I feel privileged that she shared every detail. In this episode she chats to me about her decision to enter motherhood on her own, her journey with SIMS clinic and so much more. 

Lorraine always wanted to be a mother and on her return from living in the states she felt it was time to begin her incredible journey. Holding her niece, feeling that connection and surge of love was a factor in solidifying her decision. She also started her Reiki training which enabled her to discover that, of course, she was absolutely capable and also ready to become a mother, on her own!

She talks us through how she selected the sperm donor, IUI attempts and also her IVF treatment. I love how she kept her journey so close to her heart. She told very of her plans and shares the moment she told her parents her plans, just gorgeous!
