Something that has played a large role in Ellah's story (especially since she got to college) is the idea of talking about the things that matter most in conversations. Trying to figure out how to balance being silly and goofy with friends (enjoying the gift of fellowship) which can lead to complaining, dwelling, and discussing things of this world vs. intentionally talking about the Gospel (things that matter). Then seeking how these things play into having seasoned lips and seasoned actions by seeking truth so you speak, think, and love truth.
