Eight years ago, everyone told me I was crazy to walk away from the NFL. This episode is the first time the shape of what I walked toward feels visible.

Last Saturday, twenty people came to Haven for the biggest Huachuma Workday yet — half of them were people I'd been quietly holding in prayer, not for them specifically, but for their skill sets and alignment. The new land steward arrived Friday and went straight into the workday Saturday. I just want to share what's actually happening, because it feels like something real is starting to root.
