In this episode, Andrea Székely shares her powerful journey from a corporate career in financial services to becoming a leading figure in Hungarian homeopathy. Sparked by a personal experience treating her son’s wasp sting, Andrea’s curiosity led her to earn a BSc in Homeopathy from CHE London and build an international practice across Europe. Faced with restrictions upon returning to Hungary, she co-founded CHE Budapest, launching a four-year training program that’s educated over 100 practitioners. We dive into her groundbreaking work advocating for non-medical homeopaths, culminating in their 2023 recognition by Hungary’s Homeopathic Medical Association and her 2024 board election. Andrea’s story is a testament to resilience, vision, and the power of unity in advancing the future of homeopathy.

About my guest:
Andrea Székely, BA(Hons), BSc(Hons)(Homeopathy LCHE), discovered homeopathy through her son’s chronic ear infections, which inspired her to retrain as a professional homeopath at The Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE)/Middlesex University in London. She has practiced in both England and the Czech Republic and, since 2011, has taught Scientific Research and Practice Management at the School of the Art of Homeopathic Healing in Budapest. In 2013, she began running CHE Budapest, which offers Hungary’s most comprehensive four-year homeopathy program and attracts both medical professionals and laypeople. Recently, Andrea traveled to India to study its state-supported homeopathy system, a visit sponsored by the Ministry of AYUSH. She lives in Budapest with her English husband, Robert, and their two sons, Daniel and Ben.
