(6:22) Dalo expresses how confused he felt growing up from town to town in Cleveland, Ohio. (7:20) He’s one of four siblings but is closer to his younger sister than his other sibling. (8:04) Dalo speaks on the impact his grandmother influenced in him to never be distracted… to keep busy. (8:45) “Did you ever get caught up in the drug life?” (10:19) Dalo talks on his first time singing, when he was 14 years old and then became part of the choir. (13:31) Dalomonze shares how he wasn't bought up in church but how he eventually found God. (14:47) “ One of my male cushions died, the other in the military and all my uncles were in jail so it was either; make a path for myself or follow my families road” (15:55) “You can’t be an R&B singer and jail” (16:43) What held you back from following your families path? (18:18) “hows your father and where is he? (19:56) “When and what time in your life you choose to switch from R&B to a gospel based artist?”
(21:17) I moved out to California for 3 months and met big name R&B producers and learned more about his craft. (22:53) After California, I met a women who is my wife now but she helped me get back to college. Eventually I married her and found a church where I got saved. (24:01) I got married at 21 years old and around that time I truly found my sound as a singer. (25:40) VAL. and Dalo speak on the music he was bought up around. (26:23) Dalo brings up artist such as Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Brian McKnight… etc. (29:40) through all the music you’ve written; which one out of all of them comes from an important moment in your life?
