Michael serves as the District Technology Integrator for Lake Shore CSD in Angola, New York. This is his 18th year in education. He is a member of the Lake Shore District Technology Committee, the District Teacher Mentorship Committee and is on the Western New York Technology Integrators Forum Advisory Panel. He is also a member of the Western New York Consortium for Student Empowerment through Innovation. Outside of Lake Shore, Michael helps lead the #GlobalEdSsChat and #GlobalMakerDay teams. Michael was a winner Lee Bryant Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award from NYSCATE. He has published the forward to the book, The Journey to the Y in You, and also chapters in the DigCitKids book and 100 No-Nonsense Things All Teachers Should STOP Doing. Michael has presented regionally, nationally, and internationally and is a 2x Ignite Speaker. He is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, a Google Educator Group Leader for Western New York, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, Adobe Creative Educator: Creativity Crew member, and Apple Teacher.
