Two Can Keep A Secret

Ep. 37: Summertime Crimes

Listen Later

It's the summertime! And what do people love to do when the weather warms up? Camp, fish, hike, go to the lake... all the things! Well, this week we bring to you a couple of cases where these outdoorsy folks trips didn't go exactly to plan. Remember, keep your eye out, even when you think no one else is around.

Ronda:  When a 20-something couple decides to go camping, they’re met with an unfortunate end. Unfortunately, this 1976 crime took 43 years to solve. It took dedicated detectives and some crafty police work to make it happen along with the helpful work of Parabon.

Pam:
The Appalachian Trail is a very high trafficked hiking trail in the Eastern United States and while major crimes are extremely rare... they aren't impossible. This week I tell you about the homicides of  Robert Mountford Jr and Laura Susan and the attempted homicides  of Sean Farmer and Scott Johnston, the only known attempted homicides to happen on the trail. While these two cases happened 27 years apart... the connection between them is undeniable.
