Way back in 1887, Lord Acton stated that “power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
People…society…don’t know how to behave when nobody is there to enforce the rules.
So we give certain people power.
They become authority figures.
Anarchy ensues when authority collapses.
Authority is a story.
Resistance is when you don't believe the story.
Life is all the stuff in between authority and resistance.
