A stereotype of Asian parents in Western countries is that they place emphasis on their children’s education, so much so that the pressure they place on their children has been labelled as “tiger parenting”.
Today's story is about an ancient Chinese Asian tiger parent, the mother of the famous Chinese philosopher Mencius.
