On this week's episod of "Old Skool New SKool Comedy" podcast, Christy brings in comedian/actress/widow of The Comic Strip LIVE's founder/booker, Lucien Hold, 32 year comedy veteran Vanessa Hollingshead. Vanessa hasn't stepped foot in the club since Lucien died for emotional reasons, but didn't want to cancel on Christy and the podcast. We talk about her humble comedy beginnings doing jokes for her coworkers at the office, growing up with hippie parents, entertaining our troops, overly sensitive audiences and how #metoo ruined catcalling. This was such a fun episode and I'm honored that Vanessa returned to The Comic Strip for my podcast.
