• Eric wanted to do this week because it was the 17th anniversary of the legendary Kenta Kobashi vs. Samoa Joe match in New York for Ring of Honor, which was a show that both he and Bix were in attendance for. We talk in depth about that match as well as the whole ROH weekend in general, as they came back the next night in Philadelphia for Kobashi teaming with Low-Ki to face Joe & Homicide on a show that also featured the debut of Jim Cornette as the ROH authority figure and much more.
• We also talk about the debut of TNA Impact on Spike TV featuring the debut of Team 3D, as well as how the promotion was handling the move.
• We then go International talking about Team 3D making their debut in AJPW, a new IWGP Heavyweight Championship belt being made for NJPW, and Bob Sapp beating Jun Akiyama in WRESTLE-1, as well as all the Japanese indies, before going to England where we talk about the debut of 1PW featuring a stacked lineup, Antonio Peña coming back to AAA TV tapings while seriously ill, Atlantis making his official rudo debut at Arena Mexico, and tons more.
• WWE closes the show as Vince McMahon makes a major play to hire Mike Goldberg to become the new lead announcer for Raw going into Raw Homecoming, their return to USA Network. We also have a very wacky SmackDown and much more, as well.
