James led the time of prayer, praying:

• To receive comfort from the Lord particularly amidst the worries of this time remembering that he is our shepherd, that we lack nothing and that he leads us beside quiet waters, refreshing our souls

• To know that Christ has triumphed whatever the circumstance

• For perseverance in doing good if and when we face persecution for our faith

• For Christians around the world who are suffering persecution
