We came across Grant Tucker after reading an article in the Georgia Outdoor News about a 19 year old who shot his first turkey that was extremely rare. A genetic mutation that caused this bird to have double spurs on each side. There are only 2 dozen reported cases on this type of mutation across the country. Grant talks about some of the struggles of getting on his first turkey, and how a family friend Lanier was able to help him close the deal. Lanier drops multiple tactics throughout the podcast and shares some experiences from hunting turkeys across the county. Turkeys are always cool to talk about but rare turkeys like this one are even cooler!
