To be a deviant in this sense means to deviate from the intent of Creation to assign meaning and functionality to the human body. We use our bodies in some abusive and dangerous ways that effect our entire being. Sex is something that has the ability to drain or to build. Most of us drain ourselves from the root chakra so our energy never has any opportunity to ascend into the crown chakra also known as heaven.
