In 2008, Stephenie Meyer took a break from sexy vampire stories and published an adult sci-fi novel. It had some potentially fascinating ethical quandaries, a fair amount of problematic ideas surrounding romance, and some concepts that were beat for beat identical to what occurred in the Twilight Saga. We revisit a bit from last episode, pitch our bisexual rewrite of the story, and disparage some bad acting.
