Ep. 38 | The Lesson I Learned After Quitting Too Soon

Listen Later

Sometimes the difference between success and failure isn’t talent.

It’s simply following through.

There was a time I spent nearly two hours fishing the same hole and caught absolutely nothing. Eventually I packed up and moved on. But right after I left, another fisherman walked up, made a few casts… and caught a beautiful fish in the exact spot I had just been standing.

In that moment, I realized something:I might have quit too early.

That experience reminded me of a powerful story in Joshua 6. When God told Israel to march around Jericho, the walls didn’t fall on the first lap… or the sixth. They fell after the final lap, when the people followed through on what God had asked them to do.

In fishing—and in life—we often walk away right before the breakthrough.

This video is about the power of follow-through, and why the next cast, the next step, or the next moment of obedience might be the one that changes everything.
