The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”
And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you."

Hey Guys, Welcome back to the GraftedIn Podcast!
One of the biggest lies and tactics the enemy attempts to make us believe is that WE have no authority over him. Over him or the unclean spirits/demons that he has under his command...
Scripturally speaking that is not the case whatsoever! Amazingly, God in his grace has given us ALL authority over the enemy in HIS name! And yet the church of the modern world has been deceived into believing that "this is only a Church of Acts gift...not needed for todays church and its problems...."
What Nonsense!
We are given 55 accounts in the New Testament alone where Jesus drove out evil spirits let alone the numerous accounts where the apostles and other disciples display authority over demonic spirits.
But this information is only that, unless we understand that there are some requirements and prerequisites to obtaining and using the authority we have available to us. (See the recount of the 7 sons of Sceva in Acts 19).
This Episode the boys breakdown WHAT authority Jesus has over the enemy, HOW it is explained, WHY we need to understand that this authority is only in HIS name but also WHY we don't need to fear regarding demonic activity.
Jesus has given us the ultimate victory, we only need to accept the gracious gift!
