"Solutions: The Value of Having Lived Experience", is with Don Kirchner interviewed by Joy Gilfilen, iChange Justice podcast host. about how it worked after he served time in federal prison. Don was one of the original members of the Restorative Community Coalition who wrote about his journey in his book, A Matter of Time, then Return to Honor. He was Irene's inspiration for founding the Whatcom County ReEntry Coalition; then became a board member who learned about how to help juveniles and others in jail break the cycle much sooner!

Don then used that knowledge and wisdom to ignite a collaboration with

a County Sheriff's Deputy and other probation officers to spawn the Yavapai County ReEntry Project. That in turn, rippled out and has now spawned the Yavapai Justice and Mental Health Coalition. Today these are fully funded programs and credits Irene's "fierce kindness and dedicated right action". Don is now publishing a new book, "Beyond the Chaos" about core values in "restoring hope for humanity."
