Before diving into a conversation with Mike Atcheson, of Foundation for our Future, Lee's Summit Town Hall hosts Jason Norbury and Nick Parker remind everyone the holiday season has arrived. The duo reviews a few of the many opportunities in town to enjoy the season through events, concerts, light displays and even a drive-through nativity scene. 

Before their interview with Atcheson, Nick and Jason talk about the upcoming races and make a plea for residents to consider running for local elected office or even volunteering for a city commission. Not only do unopposed races mean less for them to talk about, Jason says its anti-democratic. Multiple candidates mean more opportunity for positive discussion and public airing of issues important to each and every one of us.
