Upon her father's retirement, Lindsay transitioned to Exdexcel, where she thrived as a diary coordinator. An opportunity to build a marketing team and grow the Edexcel brand showcased her networking skills and her aptitude for managing teams. As her experience grew, she honed her internal networking skills. With the arrival of her family, Lindsay's life changed again, prompting her to launch a childminding service in Henley. Lindsay pivoted once more as her youngest daughter started school, establishing a proofreading, blogging, and copywriting business. Despite initial reservations, she reluctantly attended her first Athena networking meeting, where she found a community of like-minded women and decided to join on the same day. Over 13 years later, Lindsay remains an active member of the Athena Network, taking on the franchise for Maidenhead and Marlow and expanding into SW Oxfordshire in 2020.
