Listen to this episode if you have said to yourself (or have been recently):
- I'm not normal
- This is not normal
- I have imposter syndrome
- I have to look confident (but I don't feel it)
- What will they think if they find out?
- People will think I don't know what I'm doing
- They won't trust me if they really know what I'm thinking.
These are a couple of thoughts that can occupy a second in our minds. They are words I've heard behind closed doors more than I've had hot chocolates (holy sh!t, that's a lot, right?!).
Whenever you need or want to know that you are normal, listen.
Whenever you find yourself sliding down that pole of dispair in feeling like a fraud, listen.
Whenever you want to collect an ummmmph to get you over that little bump you are calling a blocker, listen.
Kathy Swearscale: I'm passionate about this topic, so there is plenty of swearing. Only listen if you understand that swearing is how I shout in a quiet tone and add exclamation marks to my spoken words.
P.S. Yes I do have a lip in this one, as my plate is still adjusting and can affect my speech quality #human-ing
