Have you ever loved a product or brand  so much that the thought of trying a similar product from another brand felt like an insult or betrayal? 

When my husband told me that we were a Nike family only, I knew that Nike had created a message that made my husband feel that Nike was part of who he is.

When a customer feels so attached to a brand, they have made that brand a piece of their self-construction. It’s part of who they are.

In this episode I share the four steps you need to create a brand that is attached to the self-construction of its’ customers.

 

  1. Create a journey or movement that your customers can get on board with.
  2. Deliver a clear and direct message that is fully aligned with your customers’ values. 
  3. Show-up often.
  4. Be consistent with your message.
