In the battle of the sexes, piano wire always wins. Well, almost. The 1999 movie Audition - about a widowed film exec who goes to unusual lengths to meet a woman - isn't your typical romantic revenge movie. It's sort of like if Fatal Attraction and Play Misty For Me had a baby, then that baby grew up and married Misery and became a doctor who became obsessed with Grey's Anatomy (the manual, not the TV show). But better. Takashi Miike's pretty brutal film starts off slow and then starts running REALLY fast... until it, well, can't run anymore. Feminist statement or not? You decide. Hosted by Ken Green and Angela Sawyer.
