We had a great time with Shawn McClondon and the Barn Time Band. Shawn walked us through the origins of the Sister Cities Project and all of the incredible work they are doing to create opportunity and equality starting at our local scale. The Sister Cities Projects outlines how focusing on increasing cultural exposure and providing marketing tools to businesses owned by black women can benefit everyone. He explains it much better so it's best to just watch the video :) The Barn Time Band being that it came into fruition on this episode shared with us beautifully textured tunes with a groove that'll put that pep in your step.
