On today's podcast, we talk about the balance of Nature and Business, and us as the consumers and citizens as the sliding scale of acceptability in how our world is treated.  Nestle has requested a permit to drain one million gallons of water from the Ginnie Springs area in Florida, and residents are fighting back!   

We all know about pollution, emissions, plastic waste, and other dangers our world faces, but nature itself is being scammed through BioPiracy!

BioPircay is the practice of a company taking nature or knowledge from the Indigenous, and patenting it without an agreement with the tribes. 

One famous example:  Chanel No.5 

With over 25% of all medicine coming from 10% of the plants we know about, prospectors have been going into jungles and stealing ancient knowledge and medicine for years.
